:black_small_square: Overpowered for the final tier, big badda boom. :black_small_square: Erosion for the sixth tier as it's the best damage output for this fight. :black_small_square: Chrono Shift for the fifth tier, again for kiting purposes. :black_small_square: Charged Up for the fourth tier. I found myself moving around way too much for Rune to be beneficial and you probably will also. :black_small_square: Incanter's Flow for third tier. You'll also be kiting A LOT so this comes in handy for higher mobility. Since you get a shield each time you blink, this is equal to getting two shields. :black_small_square: Shimmer for second tier. :black_small_square: Amplification first tier for maximum damage. Keep in mind, things you use for mage tower will sometimes be what you don't typically use. This is where you may vastly differ from me, as I picked the talents that allowed me more mobility to kite more efficiently vs damage output. :black_small_square: Potion of Prolonged Power (pre-pot and during the fight). :black_small_square: Flask of the Whispering Pact Many mage tower challenges actually heavily favor Bear Tartar, but that food is pointless here. :black_small_square: Azshari Salad is the best food, but in a pinch Suramar Surf and Turf or Deep-Fried Mossgill also works. This fight *isn't* about DPS as much as it is just surviving. As you can tell by the word "attempts", it did not go well. My first few attempts, I used the legendaries that put out the most DPS in an attempt to make the fight go faster. Keep in mind this guide is about what I did and what worked for me, you may find tips and tweaks that work better with your playstyle! :black_small_square: Fire Mage Tower GuideĪrcane was my last one, mainly because I haven't actually played this spec since WOTLK, so it was more of a challenge. :black_small_square: Frost Mage Tower Guide I've done other mage tower guides before as well for the other two mage specs: The Mage Tower will be up for a while before pre-patch hits, and after that you will no longer be able to get the appearances from it, so really you have a couple weeks to get them.
